Automobile dealerships that lost their franchises during the bankruptcies of General Motors Co. and Chrysler Group will have an opportunity to be reinstated, but not all Kansas City-area dealers are jumping at the chance.
A federal law signed Dec. 17 allows arbitration for any dealership that GM and Chrysler rejected. Automakers have 30 days to send letters to all 2,150 closed dealerships, listing the reasons their franchise agreements were terminated. - News - Kansas City Business Journal read more
